Affiliate Marketing Case Study: My First ₹50,000 Month
A transparent affiliate marketing case study — the niche, traffic source, content strategy and exact steps that took one blog from ₹0 to ₹50,000 in a month.

The traffic source: organic search
Every rupee here came from SEO — no paid ads, no viral luck. The SEO playbook was unglamorous and repeatable:
- One clear primary keyword per article.
- Search-intent-matched structure (answer the question fast, then go deep).
- Honest, specific recommendations (real pros and cons).
- Clean technical setup: fast pages, mobile-first, proper headings.
It took about five months to see meaningful traffic and nine to hit ₹50,000. SEO is a compounding asset, not a slot machine.
The numbers (roughly)
| Lever | Approximate contribution |
|---|---|
| 3 buyer-intent articles | ~70% of revenue |
| Recurring SaaS commissions | ~20% of revenue |
| Everything else | ~10% of revenue |
Recurring commissions deserve a special mention: a single SaaS referral that pays every month quietly stacks up, so month three earns on top of months one and two with zero extra work.
